Family Of Seven Wiped Out By Suspected Fulani Herdsmen

Gunmen alleged to be Fulani herdsmen have wiped out a family of seven in Manyi Akuru village, near Manchok, Kaura local government area of Kaduna State.

The rampaging gunmen were said to have killed Mr. Sunday Abin, 47 and removed his tongue, while his wife and their five children were said to have been mutilated with machetes.

Several people were said to have sustained injuries from gunshots, while many houses and food stuffs were reportedly set ablaze.

The incident was said to have occurred at about 10:30pm on Thursday and threw the community into confusion.

Angry youths from the community were said to have protested the continuous attacks on them by gunmen when the Kaduna State Governor, Alhaji Mukhtar Yero visited the area to commiserate with them over the incident.

NFL Star Adrian Peterson 2-Year-Old Son Attacked Police Investigating

Adrian Peterson's 2-year-old son is currently in critical condition in a South Dakota hospital ... after he was allegedly severely beaten by the man dating the mother of his child, TMZ has learned.

The Minnesota Vikings running back immediately left his team to be with his son.

Officials tell us they've arrested the suspect, 27-year-old Joseph Patterson ... who's been charged with aggravated felony assault and battery of an infant.

According to law enforcement, emergency responders arrived to the apartment where Peterson's son was living at 5:46 PM on Wednesday ... and found the child unresponsive.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital and medical experts determined the injuries were consistent with abuse.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... the child suffered severe head injuries.

Army Kills Leader Of Ombatse Cult, Other Members Arrested

The Nigerian Army has killed the dreaded Ombatse cult leader who led his group to attack the people of Obiam in Nasarawa State, reports have said.

Police authorities in Nasarawa state could not confirm the name of the leader of the outlawed group killed by the army, but an eye witness said his body and three other persons arrested have been taken to an unknown location for further investigation.

Confirming the incident to reporters, State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Nasarawa State Command, Cornelius Ocholi, who confirmed the incident to reporters said three unidentified assailants were killed in the crisis and four people who sustained injuries have been taken to Dahaltu Specialist Hospital (DASH) and are responding to treatment.
