“I am no more sexually active” – Femi Kuti reveals

femi kutiIn a recent interview with a national newspaper, 51 year old Femi Kuti revealed that he’s no more sexually active because he now has so many responsibilities to attend to.

“That is not true, I am no more sexually active. When you see a beautiful woman, when you reach my age and you have responsibility like myself, you  will know what I am talking about. Before now, as a young man, you would want to go after her. There are many nights I go and sleep alone not because I don’t have girlfriends or want a girlfriend, when I think of the responsibility I have  in my life, I will immediately have a rethink.

The women in my life also have responsibilities. I can tell you that the mothers of  my  children, we stay together, we are very serious. You could say we are husband and wife but I don’t believe in marriage. I just don’t understand why one man will say I pronounce you man and wife, in that case. I pronounce myself man and wife. I am very different from my father but in a lot of ways like him.

Like I couldn’t understand why he married 27 wives. When he married them, he divorced them. I didn’t have a problem with my father’s wives but my mother did.  When the problem started in Kalakuta, for us it was fun. Many things have changed. Of course I am very much sexually active but when I consider the problems my shoki has given me, it dies quickly.” he said

For Men – 7 Ways To Keep Your man-hood healthy!!!

ways to keep manhood healthyYou can take steps to protect your man-hood health and overall health. For example:
1. Be sexually responsible. If you are not married, abstinence is the key. Use condoms and be faithful to your partner who’s been tested and is free of sexually transmitted infections.

2. Get vaccinated. If you’re age 26 or younger, consider the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to help prevent private part warts.

3. Stay physically active. Moderate physical activity can significantly reduce your risk of erectile dysfunction.

4. Practice good hygiene. If you’re not circumcised, regularly clean beneath your foreskin with soap and water.

5. Know your medications. Discuss medication use and possible side effects with your doctor.

6. Pay attention to your mental health. Seek treatment for depression and other mental health conditions.

7. Stop smoking and limit the amount of alcohol you drink. If you smoke, take the first step and decide to quit — then ask your doctor for help.

Remember, some man-hood problems can’t be prevented. However, routinely examining your man-hood can give you greater awareness of the condition of your man-hood and help you detect changes. Regular checkups can also help ensure that problems affecting your man-hood are diagnosed as soon as possible.

While you might find it difficult to discuss problems affecting your man-hood with your doctor, don’t let embarrassment prevent you from taking charge of your health.

POSSIBLE CAUSES FOR ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION

erectile dysfunctionerectile dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction is majorly a male problem that might look simple but can wreak a lot of havoc on homes and bring about pains that can take a whole life time to heal.

WHAT IS ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION?

Erectile dysfunction is the inability of the male organ(penis)to maintain an erection sufficient for satisfying sexual activity.

POSSIBLE CAUSES OF ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION

1. Casual and unprotected sex: casual and unprotected sex can expose you to bacterial diseases or sexual transmitted infections, and when they are not properly treated can lead to erectile dysfunction.

2.Forceful Penetration: In some rare cases forceful penetration can cause an erectile dysfunction,If your man-hood is bent suddenly or forcefully while erect, the trauma might cause a man-hood fracture.

3.Heart disease and diabetes: Restricted blood flow caused by diabetes and atherosclerosis— hardening of the arteries — can cause erectile dysfunction.

4.Piercings: A man-hood piercing can cause skin infections.

5.Age Related Cause: Testosterone levels decline normally as you age. This might lead to a decrease in sexual interest, a need for more stimulation to achieve and maintain an erection, a less forceful ejaculation and a need for more time before you can achieve another erection.

6.Neurological conditions: Stroke, spinal cord and back injuries, multiple sclerosis and dementia can affect the transfer of nerve impulses from the brain to the man-hood, causing erectile dysfunction.

7.Psychological problems: Depression can cause a loss of libido. Likewise, if you experience an erection problem, you might be concerned that it’ll happen again — causing anxiety or depression. This can compound the problem and lead to impotence.Trauma — such as child abuse — can lead to pain associated with sex.

8.Hormone levels: Hormone imbalances, such as testosterone deficiency or too much of the hormone prolactin, have been linked to erectile dysfunction.

9.Smoking. Smoking doubles your risk of erectile dysfunction.

10.Certain medications and treatments. Certain medications and treatments can affect your man-hood health. For example, surgical removal of the prostate gland (radical prostatectomy) and surrounding tissue as treatment for prostate cancer might cause urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction.

The above listed causes of erectile dysfunction might not be the exhaustive list, there are still other causes of erectile dysfunction. in our next article, we shall consider possible solutions to erectile dysfunction and self help methods to get you back in shape and help you perform better than you ever expected.
